A freestanding wine cooler is designed to stand independently and should not be built in to any form of cabinet or cupboard. Freestanding wine fridges require ventilation at all times. It's highly recommended that there is a minimum gap of 3-5 inches from the side and rear of the unit to any other surface. Freestanding wine cooler units should not be installed under a countertop. Integrated wine coolers are similar to built-in wine coolers but are designed to slot in perfectly into cupboards to create a floating, seamless look. In comparison to a built-in unit, integrated wine coolers sit completely flush with your cabinetry.
In contrast to a freestanding wine cooler, a built-in wine cooler is designed to be fitted into a cupboard or cabinet. This being said a built in unit can also be used as a free-standing wine cooler. Just bought the Sommeliere 75 Wine bottle cooler and couldn’t be happier. Expert Wine Storage delivered and installed it very quickly and the drivers turned up on time and installed it as requested. The cooler has been running now at a constant temperature in both zones for around a month with no fluctuations. A great piece of kit and a great company to buy from. My only disappointment is that I purchased this one month ago and it has just been reduced by £250.
The product is fantastic and works a treat, but credit needs to go to Philip for his outstanding communication throughout the pre and post purchase process. Excellent customer service.

Phillip from EWS answered all my questions, was very knowledgable on the products and gave me clear, unbiased advice. Delivery and installation was very smooth. The product itself is excellent. I’m particularly pleased with the build quality. The casing, pull-out shelves and door all feel very solid. And it is very quiet compared to my old, cheaper wine fridge.
We ordered this fridge as a compromise between some of the smaller models and the larger options. It has been perfect for what we wanted very easy to use, silent and easy to fill. Also thought the customer service getting it to us even when it went out of stock was first class so a happy customer!

He was really helpful with the questions I had about the cooler and warned me that delivery could be delayed due to Brexit uncertainty and Covid. Having expected delivery to occur early February it was a pleasant surprise to receive a call early January and receive the cooler this week. So impressed with the delivery service and the cooler. Very happy with my purchase of the Swisscave WLB450F single zone freestanding wine cooler . The cooler was delivered quickly and after sales service has been excellent. The unit is very well made and the individual wooden racks are of high quality and move effortlessly. The cooler is quiet when running and looks stunning with the display shelf and LED lighting. Storage is flexible for various wine bottle shapes but Bordeaux style are easier to load. There is also a larger shelf at the bottom. I managed to get all my wine stored with ease and look forward to many years of use.
The Sommelière VIP180 is exactly what we were looking for! The fridge features multiple temperature zones and comes with thermostats that prove how accurate it is at creating the temperatures you want from top to bottom in the fridge. It's aesthetically pleasing... as far as fridges go with good quality wooden shelves. It's very quiet and the lighting looks good. The capacity is huge, the only problem is filling it! Expert Wine Storage were excellent from start to finish, with great communication and support, always going the extra mile to make the experience as smooth as possible. I highly recommend both this wine fridge and Expert Wine Storage!
We bought the La Sommelière ECS80.2Z - Dual Zone - 75 Bottles - Freestanding - 480mm Wide and it is working great. We had a particular size restraint and this is one of the few units that fits. We are very happy with it.
relatively quiet though I wouldn't keep it near a main area. better still is Expert Wine Storage who have been great throughout the purchase to installation process. Initially we had an issue but Expert Wine Storage have been amazing at sorting it all out. Would definitely recommend them.

The new wine fridge was easy to install and works very well. It performs better than models three times the price and our wine was at the right temperature within the hour.
I deliberately chose the wine fridge for its dimensions. Even when there was a delay to the order, expert wine storage were great at keeping me up to date and offering me other options. The fridge arrived when it was predicted to, 4 weeks after ordering, and looks great! The delivery was smooth and the driver helpful.
Helpful advice and very pleased with the product
I recently purchased a CASO Sound & Cool Table from Expert Wine Storage, which is a combination of coffee table, double fridge drawers, and soundbar. The fridge drawers can be cooled to different temperatures (between 1-10 degrees which is more than sufficient), independent of each other, and so we keep different drinks in each drawer. Having the fridge in arms reach, without having to leave the sofa is a great feature! The speaker does not replace the quality you would get from a Bose or Sonos speaker, for example, but it is still powerful and good enough with several people sitting around the table. The bluetooth connection from Android and Apple phones is also easy and quick and we have had multiple people connecting without a problem. It is an expensive table, but considering the features and stylish appearance, it is worth the money.
We have also been extremely impressed with the customer service received from Expert Wine Storage. Philip and the team were incredibly helpful and responsive in dealing with our queries as well as arranging a no fuss replacement of the original fridge (which had a defect as a result of shipping). I would be more than happy to order through Expert Wine Storage again.
