The Fondis C25S is one of their smaller models, designed for well-insulated rooms up to 25m3. This unit is capable of both cooling and heating, allowing you to keep the temperature in the ideal range of 10-14°C, with a default setting of 12°C. Because the C25S can be used in rooms where the ambient temperature may fall below the ideal range for wine storage, you have more flexibility in where you can install your wine cellar.
The C25S is intended for through-the-wall installation, which means it should be mounted on an interior wall (not an exterior wall). The extracted air from the conditioned room will be non-toxic and slightly warmer than the surrounding temperature.
The bottom right side of the Fondis wine conditioner has a condensate tube that should lead to a container or natural drain to prevent excess water vapour from leaking onto the floor. Proper installation and maintenance of the C25S will ensure that your wine collection is kept at the proper temperature and humidity levels.
