    Wine Cooler FAQ's

    What is a Wine Fridge?

A wine fridge (also known as a wine cooler) is a specialist appliance engineered to store wine at its ideal temperature and humidity. Unlike standard kitchen fridges, which are too cold, dry, and prone to vibrations, a wine fridge creates a stable, vibration-free environment. This preserves the cork, protects the ageing process, and locks in the wine’s full flavour and aroma.

Is a Wine Cooler Fridge Worth the Money?

Yes, if you want to protect your investment in wine, a wine fridge is absolutely worth it. Standard kitchen fridges are too cold and fluctuate in temperature every time the door opens, which ruins wine over time. A dedicated wine fridge maintains a precise, stable environment, allowing your bottles to age exactly as the winemaker intended.

What Temperature Should I Set My Wine Cooler?

For long-term storage and ageing, set your wine fridge to 11-13°C. This is the universal "sweet spot" for all red, white, and sparkling wines. If you have a dual-zone wine fridge and want your bottles ready to serve and enjoy at a moment's notice, set the white wine zone between 8°C and 11°C and the red wine zone between 15°C and 18°C.

How Many Bottles Can a Wine Fridge Hold?

Our range of wine fridges hold from 20 to over 300 bottles.

Do I Need Dual Temperature Zones in My Wine Cooler?

If you have a wide ranging wine collection, a dual temperature zone model can be very useful. This feature allows you to store red and white wines at their optimal temperatures in the same unit.

    Our Delivery Service

    UK Mainland Delivery

Standard delivery to the UK mainland is free and typically takes between 3 and 7 days.

This service includes a professional two-man team who will carry the fridge to your ground-floor room of choice, unpack it, position it exactly where you want it, and dispose of all excess packaging.

If your delivery involves navigating stairs, the service is usually still free, though you should contact customer support beforehand to discuss any narrow or turning staircases that might require additional assistance or a site survey.

You also have the flexibility to defer your delivery if you need it arrived on a specific date.

    International Delivery

Delivery is also available to Europe with a typical transit time of 7 to 14 working days. Unlike the full-service UK mainland delivery, European shipments are kerbside only.

Precise shipping costs for European orders are calculated and quoted directly at checkout.
