Great Reasons To Buy From Expert Wine Storage
CELLA is a UK based brand with products stored and distributed from their warehouses across the UK and Ireland. The owners of the company have extensive knowledge within the wine storage and wine fridge industry which has meant the products are not only priced correctly for the market but features like shelves can cater for real world bottles which means they fit Burgundy and Rhone bottles as standard throughout the storage range of wine fridges.
The combination range consists of two fridges joined together offering you the option to mix a wine and beverage fridge together or a single/dual zone wine fridge combination - store all your drinks in one place, at the right temp.
Highlights
Freestanding or undercounter installation
The WBV163S-BLACK from CELLA is part of the combination range meaning it is designed for short or long term storage of wine and beverage storage. The wine fridge shelves are all telescopic extending 80% of the way out giving you easy access to your bottles at the rear.
The beverage fridge features fixed glass shelves which can be moved around the interior or removed completely to allow for larger beer bottles or standing wine bottles alike.
LCD Touch Screen & built in alarms
The new CELLA storage units all feature an updated LCD display which allows you to easily control the temperature, lighting mode and there is also a built in child lock to ensure the settings can not be changed, ensuring your wines are kept safe.
All of the CELLA storage units also have built in alarms to keep your wines safe, there are numerous sensors around the wine fridge which monitor the temperature, whether the door has been left open etc - the alarms are both visual and audible.
Wine and Beverage storage in one place
The CELLA products have an interchangeable charcoal filter which can be found on the back wall of the wine fridge, it is designed to be easily unclipped and replaced. The membrane inside absorbs any unwanted odours to ensure the odours within the wine fridge are controlled by binding to the activated charcoal filter membrane.
The source of vibration within a wine fridge is due to the compressor running, IE, when it is cooling, most wine fridges will have the compressor mounted on rubber bushes to minimize the vibrations given off by the compressor, on the most part this will absorb the majority of the vibrations, however, CELLA have incorporated some additional measures to help reduce this further. The combination range
The combination range from CELLA is a versatile set of appliances which is physically joined together. The two coolers are supplied with an extended grille and a fixing kit which allows you to join both fridges together so aesthetically, they look like one complete unit from the front.
The joining kit is a set of brackets which joins the two coolers together behind the door and is easy to assemble by removing the screw covers for the hinges - when the fridges are delivered to site, depending on the level of service you have chosen, the crew may fix the fridges together for you but it can also be done at a later date.
Upon receipt of the order you will be contacted to discuss which fridge you would like to have as the right hand and left hand hinged unit, even though the image shows the wine fridge on the left - it can be the other way round also.
Lighting and Energy Efficiency
CELLA appliances are equipped with exceptional lighting, with both ceiling lighting as well as side lights all the way down the sides of the appliances, the interior of the wine fridge is exceptionally bright which is brilliant for wine cellars or restaurants where the interior lighting is quite low level.

Installation Of Your Wine Cooler
We've selected the finest wine fridges available in the UK but we often get asked about the different installation requirments for freestanding, built in and integrated wine coolers and wine cabinets. Take a look below at our brief guides and get in touch if you have any questions - we'll be very happy to help!
Freestanding wine cooler
A freestanding wine cooler is designed to stand independently and should not be built in to any form of cabinet or cupboard. Freestanding wine fridges require ventilation at all times. It's highly recommended that there is a minimum gap of 3-5 inches from the side and rear of the unit to any other surface. Freestanding wine cooler units should not be installed under a countertop (under counter), built in to cabinetry or covered over the top in any way as this can cause over heating and negates the manufacturer warranty. Find out more about Freestanding Wine Cooler Installation.
Integrated wine cooler
Integrated wine fridges are similar to built-in wine coolers but are designed to slot in perfectly into cupboards to create a floating, seamless look. In comparison to a built-in unit, integrated wine coolers sit completely flush with your cabinetry.
Built-in/undercounter wine cooler
In contrast to a freestanding wine cooler, a built in wine cooler is designed to be fitted into a cupboard, cabinet or under counter. This being said a built in unit can also be used as a free-standing wine cooler. A built-in wine cooler has a ventilation grill which allows cool air to flow into the unit which maintains it's cooling function. Find out more about built in wine cooler installation.
Noise
Is a wine cooler noisy?
The majority of wine coolers which we stock produce a noise level of approximately 35-45 decibels (dB). When compared to other common household electrical appliances, it's useful to note, a standard dishwasher creates around 45-50 dB and a modern refrigerator generates approximately 35 dB.
The reason a modern wine cooler produces noise is for much the same reasons as a standard kitchen refrigerator. Most wine coolers are designed with a compressor, an array of fans (to consistently circulate the cool air) and refrigerant. The minor difference between a wine cooler and a standard refrigerator is that the wine cooler has the need to hold a steady, consistent temperature at all times to keep your wine perfectly chilled.
How do I reduce the noise of my wine cooler?
There are a number of ways you can mitigate and reduce the noise produced by your wine cooler:
