    150mm / 15cm Wine Coolers

A 150mm wine cooler has an actual width of 145mm, allowing it to be positioned under the counter between standard kitchen cabinets. This leaves 2.5mm of space on each side of the unit for ventilation and space for the door to open.

Why Invest in a 150mm Wine Fridge?

A 15cm wine cooler is best for people who don't have a large space in their kitchen for a wider wine fridge.

With a built-in design of a compact size, you can store a small collection of 7 to 9 Bordeaux wine bottles (750ml) in an idyllic environment. You can also find other sizes of products by browse thin wine coolers here.

    Essential Features

The visual appeal of a wine cooler offers a stylish way to store and display your wines. While they are equipped with various advanced technological features, designed to keep your precious wine bottles protected for maturation and enjoyment.

    1. Precise Single Temperature Zone

These models use fan-assisted cooling to ensure your valuable wines are kept at a consistent temperature throughout the unit (between 5°C and 20°C).

However, they only have space for one temperature zone, so if you have a wider gap, shop for 300mm wide models here.

    2. Convenient Bottle Capacity

Slim 15cm wide products offer Bordeaux bottle capacities from 7 to 9, 750ml wine bottles. Ideal for a small selection of wines on hand for a party or dinner, if you have an open bottle to store, it can stand upright at the front of the product - very handy!

15cm Width: Ideal For a Slim Footprint

These coolers offer a sophisticated solution to space and storage challenges. They are all approximately 820-825mm high. While you will need just 525mm depth for these models.

All models are available in stainless steel or black finished doors and are installed with vibration-free, energy-efficient compressors, along with rubber feet to protect wines from unwanted vibrations.

We recommend keeping the wine fridge away from appliances such as washing machines.

    Quiet and Efficient Energy Performance

Due to their small size, they only consume around 140kWh per year in electricity and most models, like the Dunavox DAUF-9.22B, have an energy rating of G and climate class of ST.

The last thing you want is a noisy fridge that spikes your bills and disturbs peaceful areas of your home - we recommend models that generate below 40 decibels (dB).

    Other Noteworthy Benefits

Despite their narrow appearance, 150mm wine coolers have various innovative features to constantly protect your wines from environmental threats known to cause oxidization and flavour degradation.

    • Charcoal Filters: To eliminate unwanted odours.
    • Anti-UV Treated Glass Door: Protect your wine against sunlight overexposure.
    • LED Lighting: Stylishly illuminate your wine collection with white LED lighting.
    • Door Alarms: To alert you of any fluctuations in humidity or temperature.

    Installation Information

Slender 15cm wide models, equipped with front ventilation systems, can be built under countertops or integrated into cabinets - explore wine fridges for built in locations.

Ensure a slight gap of approximately 2cm between the cooler and its nearest surface allows air to be properly expelled.

You should ensure the cooler is installed level (adjustable legs fitted as standard), and positioned away from appliances such as tumble dryers that vibrate heavily.

This will prevent your wine from experiencing unwanted chemical reactions or sediment disruption.
